Week 5

A busy week was had by all last week. Carolyn and I would like to thank all those who made it in for interviews. Your children are growing and developing everyday and it is such a sense of fulfillment for us to watch and be able to have input into this occurring. If you didn't get to catch up with one of us please drop by and make an appointment.

The children have been busy learning how to break into play situations. This is a particular focus for all groups at the moment. With the children settled in they are now ready to extend their friendships and learning how to discuss and ask to play with different people is a big skill to learn. We foster this with specific modelling in group and one on one situations as well as online tools which can demonstrate in a different medium the same points. Books are also fantastic and another way of learning. We try to reach the children in various ways because we know everyone learns in a different way.
